Abstract guidance and submission

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE CLOSED NOW!

Abstracts were invited from researchers at any career stage and “stakeholders” (that is, other individuals or organisations working in menstrual health). We are particularly interested in abstracts that are relevant to one or more of the conference core themes:

  • Menstrual health, mental health and wellbeing
  • Menstruation & movement: participation and performance in physical activity
  • Menstrual products access, design, health and sustainability

We also accepted submissions within our broader additional themes:

  • Menstrual dignity, inequality and stigma
  • Menstrual policy
  • Menstrual literacy and education

The deadline for abstract submissions was extended till the 16th of March 2026, 17:00 GMT.

Maximum 400 words.

For performance/ art: please share background, aims, and relevant logistical details for sound/ space/ visual technology

Academic abstracts: Include the research aim, objectives, methods, results (state if study or analysis is not complete), conclusion. 

For a workshop or panel: include clear aims, activities, expected learning and experience outcomes and indicate any relevant logistical details such as duration, sound/ visual technology. 

For a stall: give full detail of content, including any interactive activities.
